Please take a minute and explore our stylish new website which is very 2024. Start on the homepage and have the complete experience. The style, elegance, and authenticity of the site nicely represents our own offerings and values. The decision to upgrade our online presence is similar to the difficult choice homeowners face when deciding to do renovations. Our inspiration came from our desire to make the best presentation possible and to showcase all of the beautiful houses we have built or remodeled.

After twenty years of doing residential construction under the tradename Eastview Homes, and another decade before that as Sharp Homes, we have collected hundreds of images demonstrating our design & build capabilities. We wanted to publish these photos in an upscale environment where the public can see and admire our proficiencies. Our previous site had placed limits on the size and quality of the pictures on display and how users could scroll through them.
Eastview Homes is a General Contractor
Another advantage to remaking our digital persona was the opportunity to broaden our focus on being a General Contractor which is a catch-all term that nicely encapsulates all of our service offerings, including home renovation which was the core focus of our earlier website’s homepage.
Instead of making galleries with hundreds of random snapshots, we’ve organized everything into sixteen separate categories which are all of our different services. All the many facets of our construction process, everything required to execute home renovations and custom home building project are featured in our menu of Services.

Our new website has a more professional layout with more informed web copy. We’ve added lots of high-quality images, most of which expand when clicked. We posted our best work, hoping we could inspire readers and present them with the feeling that their own modest home could soon be transformed into a neighbourhood landmark, something worthy of a being showcased in our gallery.

Our virtual portfolio has over a hundred pictures of completed projects, all of which illustrate our company’s work. Despite having so many pictures, we made the conscious decision to only show ‘finished outcomes’. We did this to spare visitors seeing any unsightly work-in-progress pictures unless they’re story-filled or informative. We can always show messy-but-authentic photos of work being done here on the blog, and on our social media channels. The exception to this rule is our Before & After pictures.
Eastview Homes, Before & After Pictures
Our new site features some Before & After pictures without labelling them as such or revealing the dates, and so we hope the contrast makes it obvious. This is because in every case there are no other work-in-progress pictures on the page, so the cluttered image stands out and should cause the reader to wonder about it’s context and placement. We hope users will see the accompanying image and understand it’s the same house, about ten weeks later.

Eastview’s new site has a responsive design which means it tries to look optimal on every device regardless of screen size, and that means pictures are scalable and text boxes malleable. This has some drawbacks as some browsers can make gaps where photos and text appear in odd sized blocks.
Eastview Homes’ Marketing and Communications are Anchored to our Blog
Blogging and content marketing have always been core to Eastview Homes’ online strategy and our company’s website ranks for many construction related search terms, especially when they’re modified with words like Oakville, Burlington and Mississauga. It’s our ambition to earn more popular keyword searches and higher rankings for our Service pages. Our new site offers higher quality photos, more engaging web copy, and videos of our construction manager walking through job sites while explaining things to the camera.
Our new site supports blogging which we’ll use to share construction industry news as it relates to Eastview Homes, and project updates from our construction manager, and interesting pictures from each new job site. Our blog will also dispense expert advice and routine maintenance tips to homeowners.
Our improved contact form makes it easier for potential consumers and other trades to reach us. Our email and contact forms are the best way to get in touch, and should be everyone’s first choice, rather than calling, or dropping by the office or appearing in person on a jobsite.
Eastview Homes’ Social Media Integrations
Integrating our social media channels, we’ve added social sharing buttons on the blog which allow visitors to share our content, expanding our reach while attracting readers to the website. We made a vector graphic to ensure brand consistency across every page on-site and our social media platforms. We have the option to add AI-powered features such as intelligent chatbots or live chat to provide more immediate customer support which also enhances engagement.
Our Testimonials Are Our Real Customers’ Feedback
Testimonials from satisfied clients exhibit positive feedback, and many of these advocates can be seen and heard verbalizing their own written testimonials in the website’s Videos section.

We present authentic testimonials at the bottom of each Service page, which are filled with real life project photos and which together should build trust and provide a compelling proof of Eastview Homes’ expertise and reliability. It’s hoped our new site will impress potential buyers and keep our tradespeople informed with regular blog updates regarding new projects, services, and company news.
